About Heritage Eastbourne
Eastbourne Borough Council's Heritage Eastbourne service offers a diverse range of activities, from over 200 years of history at the Redoubt Fortress to educational tours, outreach services to schools and great volunteering opportunities.
Management of the Redoubt Fortress
Heritage Eastbourne manages the Redoubt Fortress building, visitor experience and its three military collections. The Fortress has undergone a period of transformation, with more work planned for the future which will see a move towards the fortress becoming part of a Heritage Hub for Eastbourne.

We love working with schools and run a great outreach programme as well as school visits to the Redoubt. All education resources are tailored to meet the national curriculum using our excellent collections to cover subjects from pre-history to World War II.
If you would like to arrange a class tour of the Redoubt Fortress or require outreach sessions please contact us for more details.Contact Heritage Eastbourne
