About Heritage Eastbourne

Eastbourne Borough Council's Heritage Service offers a diverse range of activities, from over 200 years of history at the Redoubt Fortress and Military Museum to educational tours, outreach services to schools and great volunteering opportunities.

Redoubt Fortress Military Museum

Management of the Redoubt Fortress and Military Museum

Heritage Eastbourne manages the Redoubt Fortress building, visitor experience and its three military collections. The Fortress has undergone a period of transformation, with more work planned for the future which will see a move towards the fortress becoming part of a Heritage Hub for Eastbourne.
