CADET MINI TATTOO With performances from Army, Air, Sea, Marine, Combined Cadet and St John's Ambulance cadets. 6.30pm Doors Open 7pm Cadets march into the Redoubt followed by individual cadet displays and drill competition. 9.30pm Tattoo comes to a close as the cadets march out of the Redoubt. |
10am Come and see the fortress come to life with historical re-enactors, hands-on activities and tours of the Redoubt. 12pm The Big Jazz gets everyone's toes tapping with their unique brand of Swing music. 1pm Hailsham Community College present "On One Day", an abridged version of their recent wartime play. 2pm The Big Jazz. 3pm Cadet demonstration and historical re-enactor displays. 3.30pm The Big Jazz. 4.30pm Daytime close. |
9.30am Drumhead Church Service - The service begins with the presentation of Standards, followed by the Drumhead. The morning will conclude with the presentation of Veterans Badges. 12pm The Eastbourne Silver Band play popular tunes to set the scene for an afternoon of entertainment. 1pm The Clover Sisters entertain the crowds with their sweet singing and wartime tunes. 1.45pm Cadet demonstrations and historical re-enactor displays. 2.45pm The Clover Sisters. 3.30pm Eastbourne Scottish Pipe Band will close the weekend in style. 4pm The Last Post. |
1812 Concert Performed by the Eastbourne Silver Band A welcome return to the Redoubt of this ever popular and atmospheric musical event. 100% of the ticket price will go towards the funding of Eastbourne's Armed Forces Weekend 2012. Doors open at 7pm Tickets £5 in advance / £6 on the door. Tickets available from the Congress Theatre Box Office and the Redoubt. |
